Job Overview:

The Instructional Designer for (K12) education or e-learning industry is responsible for designing and developing educational content, curricula and learning experiences using computer software and other technologies to streamline education courses for students and professionals. The Designer has to analyse and fix disconnections between learning performance and available tools and will collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and other stakeholders to determine the efficiency of their course designs, transferring courses into online formats, and creating courses manual for Teachers and professionals.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Design and Development:

Develop and design curricula and instructional materials that align with state and national standards and guidelines

Create learning objectives and assessments that measure student learning and progress

Design and develop lesson plans, activities, and assessments that are engaging, effective, and appropriate for K12 students

Ensure that all instructional materials are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities

Conceptualize and put into practice effective training stages

Design content to optimize e-learning and generate the layout of the e-learning supports

Design and develop learning solutions utilizing modern learning (student-cantered) methods

Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs

Prepare project plan and coordinate the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation

Collaboration and Communication:

Conduct research and work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional technologists, and other stakeholders to design and develop instructional materials and curricula
